Location: All Furniture Painting Workshops are held at The Miners and Mechanics Institute in St Agnes and the workshop is helf in the first room on the right, next to the Cafe.
Parking: There is a Small Donations Car Park near The Miners and Mechanics Institute. Sometimes this can be full but their are parking permited street near by. If you require help with carring your furniture, then come in to see us and we will help you. You can also park outside the Institue to unload for ten minutes.
Time: Workshops run from 10am until 2pm, We suggest you arrive 15 minutes early to get a coffee and a little relax before we start. Sometimes the workshops can go over a little but we have to be finished by 2.30pm as the room is then hired out for another class at 3pm.
What Furniture can I bring to Paint? To make sure that you will have your projects dried and finsihed for the end of the Workshop to take home, we highly recommend brining items no larger then a bedside cabinet, dining chair or small coffee table. If you have a larger item you want to paint at home, then you can bring some parts of this alone such as door or drawers. Ideally you want a piece you can experiment on and have fun with, because you will want o try different designs as we go through the workshop.
What do I wear? We highly recommend old, painting clothes which you do not mind getting paint on. Think old and comfortable and you will have it cracked.
Can I bring Lunch? All refreshments are included with the Workshop including teas, coffees, herbal teas and cake from the Cafe in The Miners and Mechanics Institute, but if you would like to bring a light lunch then you are more then welcome and this can be eaten in our Workshop room.
